When you write for us, you are helping to create a database of health inspired articles, and you, in turn, can use The Female Wellness Hub as a platform to share your views with our audience.

The FWH Audience

Our audience and members are busy women, mothers and professionals that want simple and realistic strategies to implement into their lifestyle for life. The one thing that we DO NOT promote is pseudo-science or restrictive and fad diets or fitness regimes. Please refrain from submissions that lack the credibility behind any claims. Only articles that adhere to our Core Values will be published.

Guidelines

We cover current female health and wellness trends including nutrition strategies, recipes, fitness and lifestyle such as motherhood, finances, career and natural beauty.

  • Be original: Articles must be unique to The Female Wellness Hub and must not have been published elsewhere online (including your personal blog) or distributed on other sites.

  • Source all health claims: If you mention a statistic or a study in your piece, include a link to that source. If you claim a certain food is healthy, tell us how you know. Use links to peer-reviewed scientific papers, academic journals, and/or credible news outlets. Put relevant links in brackets: [https://thefemalewellnesshub.com].

  • Write a strong opening and conclusion: Does the first sentence make the reader want to continue? Does your first paragraph tell the reader clearly and succinctly what the article will be about? Does your conclusion summarise the next steps? Do you have a clear call to action?

  • Tips and How to: How to articles or Tips work really well for our audience eg. “How to implement fitness into your busy lifestyle” or “Top 3 tips for successful weight loss” and so on. Long paragraphs don’t read well, aim for clear subject header breaks within the article. Avoid making references to specific products/brands, we do not endorse anything we have not tried ourselves.   • Avoid Waffle: Suggested word count: 500-1,500 words perform the best. Please follow our article guidelines to the best of your ability, but also express your own writing creativity within the article.

  • Recipes : All recipes must be in this format: short recipe description, ingredients, clean and simple directions, notes. 500 word recipe description should include benefits where possible and The Female Wellness Hub referenced accordingly and must be your own. We only accept whole food based recipes with no refined sugar or highly processed ingredients.

Submitting your article

  • Email your article or recipe to info@thefemalewellnesshub.com with the subject box “Guest Blog”

  • Please attach your article in a Word document

  • Please submit a 100-word bio along with a professional photo (static headshots are boring we like you to show your personality in an image), include links to your social media accounts, website and email address

  • Recipes should be submitted with 2 original high-resolution professional images

  • If your article has been accepted, you will hear from us within 10-12 business days. We read every submission we receive but we are a small staff and cannot respond to every submission (although we aim to).

Editing

Our editorial team will work with you to help you define your message and promote your article to our audience. We run the final edit for your article and will issue you with our final mark up. By writing for us you give us permission to take all necessary measures to ensure the piece is up to FWH standards. While we do not intend to greatly modify your work, it may be necessary to make changes to it for structure, readability and SEO before publishing. By submitting to The Female Wellness Hub you acknowledge that you accept our terms and any form of editing the editorial team deems necessary.
