In this episode we speak to Yin Yoga instructor Eimear Beardmore about getting uncomfortable in order to get comfortable both on and off the mat. We also discuss the benefits of yin for female health from fertility to period pain.

Eimear Beardmore is a Yin Yoga instructor and the founder of Eimear Beardmore Yoga. Having first encountered yoga at the age of 8, she has maintained her practice throughout her teenage years, and completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2012. She furthered her studies in Yin Yoga Teacher Training Level 1 and 2 with Josh Summers, and a Chakra Mantra Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training with Shiva Rea in LA in 2014, and has continued her studies as part of the Elbowroom Advanced Teacher Training. She has also graduated with a Masters in Dance from the University of Limerick in 2017, and has had the opportunity to study with Yoga and Somatic Practitioners such as Lisa Petersen, Dave Curtis, Donna Farhi, BJ Galvan, David Swenson and Liz Koch, to name but a few.
