Boost Your Libido With These Essential Oils

Essential oils are natural substances that respond with our own body chemistry.

They are commonly known for their healing and calming properties, but they are also great at stimulating other responses such as libido. 

The causes of low libido vary from person to person and range from lifestyle choice to more serious concerns such as hormone imbalances, illness, stress and alcohol.

The good news is both men and women can increase their sex drive naturally by using aromatherapy. 

Below are some of the Essential Oils that can help boost your Libido:

Lavender or Bergamot

These relaxing oils reduces anxiety, increased blood flow to genitals and enhances female sexuality. 

Rose, jasmine, ylang ylang or geranium

Wonderful essential oils for women, they can elevate sexual energy and love.

Clove

A hot oil that need to be diluted prior to use and is a great warming massage oil.

Clary sage

A strong hormone balancer this oil improves sexual desire.

Sandalwood

This oil promotes relaxation and enhances feelings of sexuality & openness.

Essentials oils can really help you to boost your libido – aromatic and topical use is best. For a romantic bath experience – a few drops of one of the essential oils listed below in a cup of Epsom salts is ideal to release tension in the body. 

Create a special massage blend to ignite the body’s natural response to touch. Have your own perfume blend to get you in the mood. This is an opportunity to get creative with diffuser blends and massage blends. 

Dilution guideline - use 2 drops of essential oil per tablespoon of carrier oil. I recommend fractionate coconut oil or liquid coconut oil as a carrier oil – odourless and colourless and allows for fast absorption. Enjoy!
